STEVE SHELDON of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, serves as BRN’s church health consultant for the South Central region. In addition to other roles, he has served as pastor of churches in San Diego, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania, most recently at Wrightsdale Baptist Church in Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania, from 2011-2019, and Bux-Mont Baptist Church, Hatboro, Pennsylvania, from 1984-2007. He also served as director of missions for the South Central Baptist Association in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, from 2007-2011.
Sheldon, who served in the U.S. Navy from 1972-1976, holds a bachelors of arts in Christian studies (Bible) and history degree from Campbellsville (Ky.) College and a master of divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He and his wife Kathy have one son and one granddaughter.
