Covenant Community Church in Harrisburg, Pa., partners with Georgia Baptist association for compassion ministry
Covenant Community Church in Harrisburg, Pa., partnered with Flint River Baptist Association in Georgia to provide 432 hygiene bags for students in the Harrisburg area. The mission effort is a part of First River’s partnership with South Central Pennsylvania.
Wrightsdale Baptist Church in Peach Bottom, Pa., blesses local elementary teachers with school supplies
On Sept. 1, the Acts 1:8 Team at Wrightsdale Baptist Church in Peach Bottom, Pa., delivered 35 bags of school supplies to the teachers at Clermont Elementary School in Quarryville, Pa. The bags were jam packed with folders, paper, tissues and pens.
“We were excited to step into the gap and bring a blessing to these hard-working teachers in our district. It was our privilege to ‘share Jesus’ with this local school,” said Wrightsdale Senior Pastor Ryan Day.
Macedonia Baptist Church provides prayer and fun for more than 350 community members
Macedonia Baptist Church in Norristown, Pennsylvania, offered prayer and fun to local families in their community through a summer outreach event. more
BRN team member is recognized for 20 years of faithful service
Earlier this week, the Baptist Resource Network team celebrated and recognized Bookkeeper Debbie Toone for 20 years of service to the BRN. Congratulations, Debbie! Your BRN family is so thankful for your faithful service!
BRN team exegetes and prays over Harrisburg community
On Sept. 7, the Baptist Resource Network (BRN) team gathered in Harrisburg, Pa., to prayer walk/drive and exegete the communities surrounding its Hub in Harrisburg. BRN Executive Director Barry Whitworth commented on the experience, saying, “We sought to see the social, physical, economic and spiritual realms within those areas. Great experience!”

Daniel “Dan” Felton Jr.
The BRN expresses condolences to Rev. Terry Felton of Mason Dixon Baptist Church in New Freedom, Pa., and his family for the passing of his father, Daniel “Dan” Felton Jr. Dan Felton, 74, passed away suddenly on Aug. 17, 2022. Funeral services were held on Aug. 20 to celebrate his life. Please keep Rev. Felton and his family in your prayers and thoughts during this time of mourning.
