TANNERSVILLE, Pa., (BRN) – On Saturday, April 8, Living Hope Baptist Church in Tannersville. Pennsylvania, had  one person from the community attend their most recent outreach event, a. movie event. This gentleman heard the gospel and engaged in the discussion regarding the movie we were showing.

At one point, the gentleman left the room, but he came back to the room again and brought his friend with him. He had a question and I answered his question about Scripture. When asked if he wanted prayer he became very sensitive and said that he would rather we pray for him. He also said he might be interested in joining a community Bible study. A follow-up was sent to him, and we are waiting to hear back.

The next day, four visitors came to our Easter service.

We are grateful for the two pastors and wife, along with our deacon and his wife, who supported this event. Although I was greatly disappointed about the number, I was very encouraged by one of the pastors who said that they did an outreach two weeks ago and only two people showed up. This couple was extremely encouraging to me and my wife.

We will continue to share the gospel in our community. Thank you for your prayers and support, it  means so much!
