HARRISBURG (BRN) – East Shore Baptist Church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, held our 2024 Easter Eggstravaganza on March 30 and it was a success!

Historically, we have invited everyone in our surrounding area to come to our event, but due to limited parking we had to think outside the box. This year, we limited the event to 75 kids and their families.

The reason for doing this was to make the event less busy and more intimate – and it worked.

East Shore Baptist Church hosted 75 families from their community for their annual Easter Eggstravaganza.

Our church members were not running around working tirelessly, rather they had plenty of time to engage the families that did attend. Our people invited the attending families to church, park play dates, and follow-up conversations. We are now praying for the connections that were made and seeing how the Lord works in the weeks and months to come.

In addition to the above, every child and their parent heard the gospel three separate times! We shared the gospel using the Evangecube, Resurrection Eggs, and a game demonstration.
