After being separated from many of her South Asian villages due to COVID-19, missionary Sidney Dixon* braved the soaring heat and invited women and children on the unfinished roof of someone’s home to join her for a health lesson followed by a Bible story. Each week more joined and at one point the gathering topped 350! (Thankfully the roof held!)
As a new COVID surge ravaged South Asia and lockdown measures returned, Dixon couldn’t continue the gathering. Women in the village called, requesting her to come back despite government restrictions. These calls resulted in villagers gathering in smaller groups to hold their own gatherings. Now women that Sidney ministered to are ministering to other women in their villages and life change is happening!
