WOODBURY HEIGHTS, NJ., (BRN) – In celebration of Christmas and to share the Good News, Iglesia Bíblica La Verdad hosted a Christmas dinner for the Hispanic community of Woodbury Heights, New Jersey.

Over 100 invitations were distributed, and the event was also promoted through social media. A total of 41 people attended the dinner.

The goal of this event was always to show the love of Christ, to serve the community and to clearly share the true meaning of Christmas and its importance for each of us today.

Much time, prayer and effort went into preparing the event, but God not only provided all that was needed, but He also worked greatly when Pastor Sergio Belloso preached the gospel during the dinner. As a result of sharing the gospel during dinner, three people responded to the call of repentance and placed their faith in Christ as their Savior.

Pastor Sergio Belloso used a sketch pad and paints to creatively present the gospel at the Christmas dinner.

All the children who attended were also able to play, have fun and hear the gospel. At the end of the activity, an invitation was extended to the meetings of Iglesia Bíblica La Verdad, and new testaments were given to all attendees.

The night was very special and a great blessing for those who found salvation, as well as for all those who volunteered and had the opportunity to serve in a practical way the community to which the Lord has called them to reach.
