Church Security Seminar, SJ/Philly – CANCELLED

Seminar Descriptor:

This event will not be a sales pitch for additional insurance coverage as it is about the protection and securing of gospel ministry in the local church. The seminar will have three main parts and a time for Q&A.

• Church Security – What is church security and how do we move our church’s security ministry to the next level? Time will be focused on developing a security ministry, enhancing a security ministry, and the “Do’s and Don’ts” for a successful security ministry.
• Volunteers – Addressing potential issues and risks associated with volunteers, especially with minors, warning signs of predatory behavior, and securing children’s ministry areas.
• Protecting the Church & Assets – This section will cover physical security aspects (cameras, doors, alarms, offices, access control, etc.) and appropriate coverages that will help protect the church from loss.

Resources and company names will be shared with participants should they need to look into resourcing security measures (such as cameras, surveillance, and alarms.).

The seminars are sponsored by Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company and the BRN.

All security seminars will follow this time flow:

• 8:30 a.m. registration
• 9 a.m. Seminar begins
• 11:30ish a.m. Seminar ends

Seminar Presenter:
