First Haitian Metanoia Baptist Church spreads the Good News of Jesus to the streets of Philadelphia, Pa.

On Saturday, March 30, First Haitian Metanoia Baptist Church in Lansdowne, Pa., went out and evangelized to several different neighborhoods in Philadelphia. Senior Pastor Noelson Chery and his son, Jeshua, spent their afternoon praying and sharing the gospel in the Lansdowne area, while Brother Ondy Previlus and his son, Jeremiah, preached in West Philly. Other church members spent time in Yeadon, Upper Darby, and Drexel Hill.

First Haitian Metanoia also recently celebrated the conversions of Meles Chery, pastor Noelson’s cousin, and a young woman named Catherine! Praise the Lord for all He is doing in and through First Haitian Metanoia!

BRN EVANGELISM GRANT: Providence Church Coatesville partners with community center to bless school staff

BRN EVANGELISM GRANT: ‘Hunger Stops with Us’ grows to community wide event at Fellowship CrossPoint

Anastasis Fellowship Church in Reading, Pa., is awarded with ‘Ready Church’ status

On Sunday, April 8, PA/SJ Director of Disaster Relief Kenton Hunt recognized Anastasis Fellowship Church in Reading, Pa., as a Ready Church. A church is considered a Ready Church when it is “committed to meeting critical needs through preparation, connection and response.”

In honor of reaching Ready Church status, Hunt presented Anastasis Senior Pastor Larry Baker with a certificate, stating that Anastasis has prayerfully examined the needs of their community, nurtured relationships with local partners, and proven their readiness to love their neighbors in Jesus’ name during times of urgent need. New Horizon Church celebrates new life on Easter Sunday

After watching God work in Jan’s life over the past few years, New Horizon Church in Mars, Pa., witnessed her go public with her faith in Jesus on Easter Sunday! In Memoriam:

Mamie L. Dawson

Mamie L. Dawson, mother of Dr. Tom Dawson, senior pastor of The SOAR Church in Woodbine, New Jersey, went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2024. A Homecoming Celebration service will be held for Mamie on Monday, April 15, at 11 a.m. at Deliverance Evangelistic Church, located at 2001 W. Lehigh Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa. A viewing will take place at the church before the service from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.

The BRN extends its deepest condolences and continued prayers to Dr. Tom Dawson and family. Please join us in praying for them and others grieving the loss of Mamie L. Dawson.
