CHESTERFIELD, NJ, (BRN) – Hunger Stops with Us was held at Fellowship CrossPoint Church in Chesterfield, New Jersey, on Dec. 9, 2023.
We hosted two packing events, and over 50% of all attendees were not connected to our church. We had local businesses bring their staffs as well as local organizations, like the Civil Air Patrol and Girl Scouts, come and pack. Every table had a member of CrossPoint there to engage in gospel conversations during the event.
The event also shared how Jesus desires to satisfy both our spiritual hunger and our physical hunger. We shared how, through the cross, we can have our spiritual needs met in Jesus and begin a relationship with God.
Our team had over 20 conversations with not-yet believers about their spiritual condition. We have one confirmed conversation where a girl who had walked away from Jesus recommitted her life to him and is connected to our church and the community.
We are now taking Hunger Stops on the road and are prepping to have a pack on base where we are connecting with military families.
