HARRISBURG (BRN) – On behalf of East Shore Baptist Church, we want to say thank you for the evangelism grant that helped make our Memorial Day cookout and concert a success. Our initial purpose was to keep this event intentionally smaller than our Easter Eggstravaganza so that our people could be more intentional with attendees… it worked! We saw at least five families that were not connected with East Shore attend, and we were able to have our members connect with them (and even exchange phone numbers with the purpose of studying the Bible together.) One of our members has been praying for their unbelieving husband to attend church for years and has yet to attend, BUT that husband came to this event, enjoyed it and then came this past Sunday to Sunday school, Sunday service and a small group Sunday evening. Overall, this event was a big win for our members and our community. Thank you so much for everything you do!
