LEHIGH VALLEY, PENNSYLVANIA
WHO
Residents at Victory Recovery Homes, a residential recovery program for adult men (18+) who are committed to recovery from addiction and willing to participate in a faith-based program.
WHY
To help improve the home for those benefiting from Victory Recovery Homes, specifically by repairing and sealing porch windows, providing safe access around the property for the residents at Victory Recovery Homes, and replacing the front stair handrail. Improved safety features will also help maintain a welcoming environment.
WHAT
Volunteers will repair deteriorating glazing and seal gaps in enclosed porch windows to prevent drafts and moisture damage. Volunteers will assist with sealing, glazing repair, and touch-up painting, install a paver walkway along the side of the home to provide safe access around the property, and will replace aging metal handrails along the front steps with secure steel railings anchored into the concrete stairs. Completing these tasks will improve property safety for residents and staff.
