Hello, BRN Family. It’s great to be with you today!

As we enter into our 56th year as a state convention, I wanted to take the time to tell you a few of the priorities that are on my heart for 2026. This is Part 1.

Our theme for 2026 is Bold Move, anchored in the powerful words of Joshua 1:9: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Critical to this, I believe, is prayer.

At the 2025 Accelerate Conference, I challenged our churches to return to the altar and to reprioritize prayer. History, Scripture, and faithful leaders all testify that lasting impact, revival, and spiritual multiplication will never come through routine, performance, or minimal prayer.

God moves when His people cry out with their whole hearts. This year, I earnestly invite you to make prayer a bold priority. To assist you, please consider using our year-long prayer guide found at brnunited.org/prayer.

Also critical is service, which is why I want to highlight this year’s Serve Tour to be held on June 26-27 in the Lehigh Valley. The Serve Lehigh Valley tour is the fourth such tour in which hundreds of volunteers from several churches across our two-state region and beyond have gathered to serve communities together.

The Lehigh Valley is the third-most populous metropolitan area in Pennsylvania and is known for its growing economy. Even so, 41% of families are known to be “Asset-Limited,” and “Income-Constrained,” though employed. This means their income does not sustain basic needs, so they utilize community resources to supplement their living.

The BRN is identifying the communities’ most pressing needs and developing vital projects in partnership with these churches: 1427 Church, Allentown; Misión Vida, Bethlehem; Riverbend Community Church, Bethlehem; and The Vine Calvary Chapel, Schnecksville. Projects will go live in March 2026. Will you join us? Sign up for early access at servepasj.com.

A continued priority for 2026 is a focus on helping churches take their next step in ministry, whatever that step may be, and, ultimately, to help them achieve their next level in ministry.

What is the “Next Level” that God is calling you and your church to achieve? Our team is ready to assist you! I urge you to reach out to the Help Desk ([email protected]) to schedule your next consultation.

I look forward to sharing other priorities next week! In the meantime, as always, I thank you for your partnership, and I pray God blesses you as we step boldly into the year ahead. Again, Happy New Year!
