Hey BRN Family, Elizabeth here and it’s time for the January Top 5!

#1: Happy New Year! What a tremendous opportunity to bathe a whole new year in prayer! To that end, we invite you to join BRN churches all across this region in a united prayer effort using a free “52 Weeks of Prayer” guide written by the BRN team and BRN pastors and ministry leaders. The January focus includes bold moves, fruitful ministry, putting Christ first, and giving, among other valuable topics. Churches desiring this resource are encouraged to contact the BRN Help Desk at [email protected]. Otherwise, you can find it online at brnunited.org/prayer. Thank you!

#2: On January 15, the BRN will host a Disciple-Making One-Day Workshop at the BRN Hub. This full day event will feature Kevin Marsico, chief of global ministry at Dynamic Church Planting International, and David Ludwig, BRN director of discipleship and leadership development. This workshop, which includes a time of training, resources, and peer-to-peer conversations about disciple-making and multiplication, is designed for pastors, church leaders, and anyone involved in disciple-making in their local church. Learn more here.

#3: It’s that time again when we discuss the Annual Church Report (ACP, for short), the annual statistical report churches voluntarily submit to the Southern Baptist Convention and the Baptist Resource Network each new or fiscal year. The ACP acts as a historical record for churches and provides information to help the BRN plan its ministries. We are asking that all churches fill out their ACP data no later than February 28, 2026. Information on how to fill out your form can be found at brnunited.org/acp or by contacting our Help Desk, [email protected] or (717) 652-5856. Thank you.

#4: March is right around the corner, so it’s time to sign up for the Advance Evangelism Conference! This conference, helpful for all church members, will be held on March 16 at Calvary Church in State College, Pa., and will feature keynote speakers, William “Duce” Branch of Southeastern Seminary and Dave Earley, former professor at Liberty University, as well as several practical breakout sessions. Sign up today at advancepasj.com.

#5: You and your church members are invited to take part in the BRN’s spring Advanced Disaster Relief Training, either on March 27-28 at Bucks County Community Church in Langhorne, Pa., or April 10-11 at Grace Baptist Church, in New Bethlehem, Pa. Advanced Disaster Relief Training is hands-on, on-site instruction for Disaster Relief volunteers who have completed Basic Disaster Relief Training and met the background check requirement. Multiple courses are offered for volunteers. Haven’t done the Basic training? No worries! You can do that all online at brnunited.org/courses. Learn more at brnunited.org/dr.

That’s all for January. Thanks for watching, BRN Family. We appreciate you and we are thankful for you!
