Hello, BRN Family. It’s great to be with you today!
In last week’s video, I shared with you some of the priorities that are on my heart for 2026. Namely, I talked about prayer, service, and making bold moves for the future. This video continues this series.
One of the priorities for this year is on advancing kingdom partnerships. Last year, the BRN Executive Board created a new Associate Membership pathway for doctrinally aligned evangelical churches across PASJ who share our mission and values, even if they are not yet ready to formally join the SBC.
This initiative allows for meaningful collaboration in gospel advancement while honoring BRN and Southern Baptist convictions, with associate members receiving limited resources funded solely by their own contributions.
Additionally, the board has approved the launch of a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit under the BRN umbrella to support the expanding reach of Serve Tours and Disaster Relief, enabling access to broader funding opportunities and strengthening our capacity to meet disaster response, crisis, and community needs across PASJ and the Northeast.
Another priority, although there are many more, is to honor the 100th anniversary of the Cooperative Program.
We are deeply grateful to our churches for their faithful generosity, as the Cooperative Program has been a vital force behind our growth and mission impact through God’s gracious provision.
Recognizing Cooperative Missions as one of the most effective engines for missions and evangelism, we invite churches to prayerfully consider an additional $100 gift—monthly, quarterly, or annually—which, if embraced by 100 churches, could raise up to $120,000 to help reach 14 million lost people and further strengthen mission efforts at every level. Would you prayerfully celebrate 100 years of cooperative missions in this special way? Thank you.
