Harvest Church – Natrona Heights braves cold weather for Easter Egg Hunt outreach

On March 23, community members braved the cold for an Easter Egg Hunt at Harvest Church – Natrona Heights campus in Natrona Heights, Pa. The egg hunt gave the church plant an opportunity to bless their community and invite families to their Sunday worship service!

First Baptist Church of Crestmont hosts blood drive amidst Easter season

On Sunday, March 17, the Outstanding Men of GOD (O.M.G) of First Baptist Church of Crestmont in Willow Grove, Pa., partnered with American Red Cross to host a blood drive. The church and community responded in a great way. Of the 42 people that registered and the 36 people that showed up to the drive, FBC Crestmont was able to collect 24 units of blood, exceeding the drive goal of 20. Read More

Palm Sunday concludes with egg hunt at Plaid Community Church

The celebration of Palm Sunday continued at Plaid Community Church in Pittston, Pa., as the church hosted their annual Easter Egg Hunt after worship. The church saw God provide as they had a total of 19 buckets to distribute and a total of 19 kids to participate!

St. John Memorial Baptist Church prepares for Holy Week through prayer

Last weekend, St. John Memorial Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pa., held a special prayer service. The church and community members came together to lift up specific prayer topics to the Lord, such as poverty, family relations, physical and mental health, forgiveness, salvation, and more. Cooperate prayer is powerful!

First Ukrainian Evangelical Baptist Church pours into married couples

On Saturday, March 23, First Ukrainian Evangelical Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pa., hosted a special program for married couples. The couples focused on the theme “together to sole purpose” through a word from Pastor Pavel Nemish, communication exercises, and games. The event was well received and gave couples the opportunity to get to know other families!

Worship followed by egg hunt at Riverbend Community Church in Allentown, Pa.

After Sunday worship on March 24, Riverbend Community Church in Allentown, Pa., hosted an Easter Egg Hunt for the families in their church and community! This outreach event gave Riverbend the chance to connect with new and familiar families in the Lehigh Valley area.

In Memoriam

Dr. Terry Edward Douglas

Dr. Terry Edward Douglas, 83, of Marshall, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on March 20. Douglas formerly served as the BRN Director of Evangelism. A funeral service for Douglas was held on Monday, March 25, at Chapel of Downs Funeral Home, followed by an interment at Zion Hill Cemetery in Jasper, Texas. The BRN extends its sincerest condolences to Douglas’ family, friends, and loved ones. Please join us in praying for them.  Read More
