Send Philly continues Prayer on the Parkway for fourth year; adds new compassion component to prayer event

This year, Send Philly added a compassion component to the event by distributing cold weather and hygiene essentials to the homeless living on the Ben Franklin Parkway. What an amazing morning of intentional care for the City of Brotherly Love. PSU New Life joined by Virginia Tech BCM team for first week of classes outreach

Earlier this week, the New Life Campus Ministry at Penn State University (PSU) in State College, Pa., welcomed a team from Virginia Tech Baptist Campus Ministry to help with outreach during the first week of Spring classes at PSU. From Saturday-Wednesday, the VT team helped the PSU New Life crew by tabling on campus, connecting with students, and inviting students to New Life’s weekly Bible study.

As a result of their efforts, the VT team collected 19 contacts for the PSU ministry, and three new students attended the weekly Bible study because of direct interaction with the VT team. Praise the Lord for this Kingdom partnership! Please join us in praying for the students at PSU as well as for the VT team as they head back to their own campus.
