KITTANNING, Pa., (BRN) – In preparation for their Kids Glow Worship Night, volunteers from Harvest Community Church in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, spent much of their day on June 12 decorating the church’s auxiliary auditorium with blacklights, streamers and glow in the dark tape.
During the worship night, we played worship songs while the kids danced and did motions to the songs. There were also games to keep the kids entertained, and plenty of fun treats, pizza, glow in the dark tattoos, glow sticks and face paint.
We had an intentional time of sharing the gospel with the kids as Pastor Kevin presented the Good News in the form of a puppet show.
Over thirty volunteers were present to help with the evening.
One of the best parts was hearing how parents were able to have a date night, sisters had an evening out and groups of adults just had some down time away from the kids, all while their kids were having a blast and learning about Jesus!
