STEWARTSTOWN, Pa., (BRN) – Prior to Rinely Days, a large local community yard sale, Friendship Baptist Church in Stewartstown, Pennsylvania, provided spaces for vendors to sell their wares as well as a space for portable toilets to promote foot traffic.

Our church is centrally located for Rinely Days, so on the main day of the event, we provided hotdogs, cookies and ice water to encourage people to listen to a gospel music concert and to give us the opportunity for one-on-one evangelism.

The gospel was shared in a number of ways, including through the music and testimony of the gospel band, through a simple plan of salvation presented in church brochures newly designed for the event and then verbally through one-on-one conversations. There were approximately 500 people who attended Rinely Days this year.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community in this way and are hopeful for the seeds that were planted for the gospel through this event!
