The Bronx is one of the five boroughs in New York City, and nearly 1.5 million people live there. A highly diverse city, a person will hear dozens of languages and smell an array of foods that originate from all over the world. And while Fordham Road is the third largest shopping district in the city, many of the neighborhoods encounter severe financial needs, and the diversity creates a people who are open to spirituality but not open to submitting to Jesus.

Ramny and Dayami Perez have started a church in this neighborhood. Only about 3 percent of the community identify as evangelical. Many residents dabble in other forms of spirituality, and Ramny often has to help them navigate these issues as he shares the Gospel and disciples believers.

THE COOPERATIVE PROGRAM is the financial fuel for reaching every person for Jesus Christ in every town, every city, every state, and every nation. Your support through the Cooperative Program helps missionaries like Ramny and Dayami as they start churches in culturally complex communities like theirs in the Bronx.

PRAY doors continue to open for the Perezes and they see Gospel-proclaiming churches multiply to reach the millions of people who need to turn to Jesus Christ.
