BRN Pittsburgh-Warren Mission House hosts first team since completed renovations

The BRN’s newly renovated Pittsburgh-Warren Mission House recently welcomed its first guests as a team of women from Shandon Baptist Church in Columbia, South Carolina, utilized the home for a retreat. Along with providing a place for rest, the mission house also allowed the Shandon Baptist team to stay near to their friends at Steel City Church and serve alongside Steel City during their visit.

What a blessing it is to house teams from South Carolina after being so blessed by Pam and Randy Creamer of the Saluda Baptist Association and teams from SC! This is the beauty of partnership in action!

Young men at Crosspoint Baptist Church of Sounderton benefit from Trail Life

On Sept. 28, young men at Crosspoint Baptist Church of Souderton in Souderton, Pa., participated in a Trail Life troop meeting. Trail Life USA partners with churches and parents across America as the premier national character development organization for young men which produces generations of godly and responsible husbands, fathers, and citizens. It was a beautiful day at Crosspoint as the young men spent their afternoon outside learning from Trail Life leaders.

Wrightsdale Baptist Church Teen Boys and Girls Mission Team blesses local fire station

Last week, Wrightsdale Baptist Church’s Teen Boys and Girls Mission Team prepared snacks and sodas for the first responders at Robert Fulton Fire Company in Peach Bottom, Pa. Adult leaders delivered the goodies to the station and were met by grateful first responders who expressed gratitude for the students’ efforts!

‘Seasoned saints’ honored with special reception at Calvary Christian Church

Following their Sunday service on Sept. 28, Calvary Christian Church in Philadelphia honored all of their “seasoned saints” by hosting a special reception for those in their body who are 65 and older. Calvary’s Evangelism and Hospitality team provided a meal and gifts for all who attended the reception. Pastor Robert Fontell and other ministry leaders attended the reception and spent the afternoon encouraging and thanking these saints for being great examples of how to faithfully follow Christ.

Thompsontown Baptist Church blesses community with Fall Fest

On Saturday, Sept. 27, Thompsontown Baptist Church in Thompsontown, Pa., hosted a Fall Fest for their community. The church set up games, face painting, food, and other activities to provide a fun environment for the kids and families in their community. The outreach event also presented the opportunity to share the Gospel, invite families to church, and pray with community members!

Redeeming Grace Church welcomes 16 new members into church family

On Sunday, Sept. 28, Pastor Josh Tancordo and Redeeming Grace Church in Bethel Park, Pa., welcomed 16 new members into their church family! These new members include: Lou & Melissa Petrucci, Isaac Betlow, Jessica O’Brien, Maria Vadas, Jim & Alicia Barone, Sarah Bane, Judy Cataneo, Pete Baumiller, Derek Watson, Mike & Jessi Scheib, Anna Flanigan, and Jason & Jaime Marvin. Praise the Lord for these new members and for the ways He is growing Redeeming Grace Church!

First Haitian Metanoia Baptist Church witnesses several go public with their faith

It was all smiles on Sept. 6 at First Haitian Metanoia Baptist Church in Lansdowne, Pa., as several made the decision to go public with their faith in Jesus! Praise the Lord for these brothers and sisters who were baptized! Please join us in rejoicing with them and the entire Frist Haitian Metanoia Baptist Church family.

Grace Reformed Baptist Church gathers at creek to celebrate baptism

During the evening of Sept. 28, Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Ramey, Pa., gathered at a local creek and witnessed the baptism of Seth. The water was cold, but that didn’t stop Seth from making a public profession of faith in Jesus! Praise the Lord for this brother in Christ! End of September marks founding anniversary for PBCI

While gathering for Sunday worship on Sept. 28, Philadelphia Bible Church International (PBCI) in Philadelphia celebrated their founding anniversary! The church rejoiced over God’s faithfulness through the years and heard an encouraging message from guest speaker Pastor Noel Geniza. PBCI joyfully welcomed friends and believers from other churches for this anniversary celebration.

Keystone North Church celebrates three years of ministry

Restored Church pastor discusses food insecurity and compassion ministry on PA Live

Earlier this week, Restored Church Senior Pastor Tim Walker was invited to be on PA Live, a talk-show style tv program that discusses things happening in Pennsylvania, to discuss food insecurity in Wilkes-Barre. Restored Church is currently working alongside community partners in Wilkes-Barre to provide meal opportunities and fight against food insecurity in their city.
