#1: Mark your calendars now for the October 7 Accelerate Conference to be held back at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel in Harrisburg. This year’s conference will feature the theme, “Bold Move,” with keynote speakers Dr. Jeff Iorg, president and CEO of the SBC Executive Committee, Dr. Barry Whitworth, BRN Executive Director, and Dr. Tom Dawson, senior pastor of SOAR Church in Woodbine, N.J. We will host several breakout sessions, and worship will be led by local “musicianaries” Haney Love. Registration for the 2025 Accelerate Conference is now open! #2: Want to have lasting impact? The months of August and September mark the primary emphasis time for the BRN’s LovePASJ Prayer and Offering for Missions. Pennsylvania/South Jersey churches are encouraged to participate in this exciting week of prayer and giving Aug. 17-24, or Sept. 7-14 (an alternate week). 100% of this offering stays right here in Pennsylvania and South Jersey and supports ministry to our mission field, most notably in these areas: church advancement, church starting and missions sending, compassion ministry/disaster relief, next gen mobilization, and pastoral care and wellness. Check your mailbox soon for sample materials to use in promoting your offering. #3: May I urge you to pray for the upcoming “The Battle Belongs to the Lord” Ministry Couples Retreat, set against the historic backdrop of Gettysburg, Pa., on August 18-20?
