The Baptist Resource Network’s Elizabeth Benge shares the Top Five resources, including several exciting events, for September 2020.

Hello, BRN Family! This is Elizabeth and this is the Top Five for September.

#1: September 13-20 is the 2020 Baptist Resource Network Week of Prayer and Offering for State Missions. Please join us in praying for God to use our BRN churches to reach the 14 million people across PA/SJ who do not yet have a relationship with Jesus. You can give online or through GoFundMe today. Learn more at brnunited.org/offering.

#2: On September 29, Blackaby Ministries International, in partnership with the North American Mission Board, is excited to bring “REVIVE: Christ and His Church” to the BRN! During this virtual conference, authors Dr. Richard Blackaby and Dr. Mark Clifton will unpack several significant truths from their books, “Flickering Lamps” and “Reclaiming the Glory,” as well as from their extensive ministry with pastors and churches. Sign up at brnunited.org/events.

#3: Bethann Miller, CEO of Safe Place Ministry, will host 3 regional roundtables, via Zoom, in the coming weeks. As a counselor, she will share about stress response cycles and compassion fatigue, which is commonly occurring during these pandemic days. Sign up at brnunited.org/events.

#4: Speaking of events, as you are aware, COVID-19 has changed so many things around us, including BRN’s 2020 annual meeting. Be on the lookout for an announcement from Barry later this month detailing our adjusted plans.

#5: Our partner Alliance Defending Freedom Church Alliance is now offering Five Things to Know: A Legal Guide for Churches, a legal guide which gives an overview of five of the broadest areas of interest during election season: sermons and speech, voter education, use of church facilities, lobbying, and gifts and money. Find out more at brnunited.org.

That’s it for our September Top 5. Thank you, BRN! We appreciate you and we’re praying for you.
