According to Send Relief’s Coy Web, Send Relief is responding to Venezuela and continuing its work through trusted national partners. Here is information on response:

  • Since 2017, through 64 projects across Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, and Peru, Send Relief has helped more than 3 million Venezuelans, including 696,892 people receiving food assistance and 1.43 million people receiving healthcare and critical medicines. We are continuing this response through local partners as this crisis continues.
  • Send Relief serves Venezuelans in their home country through local Baptist churches and trusted national partners, meeting urgent needs and sharing the hope of Christ—crucial help especially during the country’s most difficult seasons of economic hardship.
  • Send Relief has increasingly focused on sustainable, dignity-restoring solutions, transitioning from emergency feeding to micro-enterprise and livelihood projects such as bakeries, soup kitchens, and small-scale agriculture. Through these efforts, 18,426 people have been trained and 216 micro-enterprises have been launched, helping families generate income while churches continue to minister in their communities.
  • Across the region, Send Relief walks alongside Venezuelan refugees on the move, supporting rest stops and ministry hubs in countries like Colombia and Peru that provide hot meals, clean water, showers, laundry, medical care, and spiritual and emotional support for families fleeing crisis—many traveling thousands of miles on foot.
  • These years of trusted in-country partnerships, regional experience, and church-centered ministry position Send Relief to take the next faithful step, responding wisely and quickly as needs emerge during this season of transition, while continuing to point people to the lasting hope found in Christ. We continue to provide emergency supplies through trusted national partners in Venezuela.

You can help Send Relief bring hope and help by giving and by praying for:

  • The protection and safety of all people in Venezuela
  • Peace and restraint during this season of transition
  • Provision of food, clean water, and medical care
  • Strength, wisdom, and courage for pastors and church leaders
  • God’s purposes to prevail and His peace to be known
  • Send Relief leaders and partners in the region as they prepare to meet new needs
