#2: May I urge you to pray for the 2026 Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting and Pastors’ Conference to be held June 7-10 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando? This year’s SBC Pastor’s Conference theme is “Together” and will feature four specifically designed micro-conferences for the entire church staff in addition to the traditional preaching and worship content. On June 1-7, the SBC will host Crossover Orlando, a week of Kingdom impact as churches serve the communities in and around Orlando. Please pray for all these large events, as well as the nearly 200 ancillary meetings, events, and gatherings throughout the week. Learn more at sbcannualmeeting.net. Thank you!
#3: Mark your calendars now for the October 6 Accelerate Conference to be held at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel in Harrisburg. This year’s conference will feature the theme, “Bold Impact,” with keynote speakers Dr. Barry Whitworth, BRN’s Executive Director, and several of our own pastors and ministry leaders: Kyle Canty, T.J. Freeman, Brian Musser, and Zakk Roberts. We also will host several breakout sessions, worship led by students from Lancaster Bible College, and a special bonus! On the evening before the conference, Travelers Church Pastor Wes Wineberger will host a preconference session on prayer. Registration for the 2026 Accelerate Conference will open on July 15 at acceleratepasj.com.
#4: This summer, the Baptist Resource Network will host an Open House to dedicate the newly renovated Harrisburg Mission House. Guests will also tour the BRN’s Guest House and Hub office. The Harrisburg Mission House will be dedicated in honor of the meaningful service and renovation work of Dewey and Kathie Aiken of Baptists on Mission as well as their fellow N.C. Baptist churches.
