DR. BARRY WHITWORTH: Hello, BRN Family. It’s great to be with you today. Dr. Anderson and I are standing here together. We just finished the Advance Conference 2026 in State College, Pennsylvania, at Calvary Church, one of our BRN churches, and it was a great day of God’s people being together to be encouraged to be on mission by sharing Jesus Christ. And, we had a couple keynote speakers, Dr. Anderson, that you invited. Tell ’em, tell ’em about that.
DR. LARRY ANDERSON: Well, we had William “Duce” Branch, who did an amazing job of helping us see how the God who sees us and helping us see Him, hear from Him, and respond appropriately to His things His way. We had Dr. Earley who came up and just gave a great presentation on caring, prayer, and sharing the gospel. And, it just was an awesome opportunity to hear the stories, the narratives, getting back to the basics of our faith and why we share it.
DR. BARRY WHITWORTH: Amen. And we also had two different breakout sessions, three sessions in each of those breakouts, and we did that with our own folks.
DR. LARRY ANDERSON: Absolutely. You know, the homegrown who really understands our context and helps us realize how to share the gospel at home, at work, in any environment that we’re in, life on life, just caring and sharing.
DR. BARRY WHITWORTH: Amen. So, why we were here was to encourage, to challenge, and even hopefully motivate people to get out there and share the gospel of Jesus Christ, because there are many people across Pennsylvania, South Jersey, that need to hear about Jesus. We’re about to come on Easter, and it’s our heart that people that were here today, but even you that are listening to this, that you’ll be motivated to go out there and talk about the greatest thing that’s ever happened to us, and that’s God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to come and die for our sins. And this day is kind of special. It’s 3/16. 3/16. And what’s that remind us of, Larry?
DR. LARRY ANDERSON: John 3:16. “For God so loved…”
DR. BARRY WHITWORTH & DR. LARRY ANDERSON:”… the world, that He sent His only begotten Son, that whoever shall believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”
DR. BARRY WHITWORTH: Amen. So we close with that and just want you to know, next year, when Advance comes around, come on and be a part of what God will do at Advance 2027. We had a phenomenal time of worship and even praying. We prayed together. We prayed for each other. So, hey, we’re just reaching out to say we had a good day.
