On Monday, June 8, during the Annual Meeting of the National African American Fellowship (NAAF) of the Southern Baptist Convention, Rev. Dr. Jerome F. Coleman was elected and installed as the National President of NAAF.

Dr. Jerome Coleman, newly appointed national president of the National African American Fellowship (NAAF), addresses NAAF members during their gathering at the 2026 SBC Annual Meeting.

The National African American Fellowship is a network of African American Southern Baptist pastors, churches, leaders and ministries committed to advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, strengthening churches, developing leaders and increasing African American engagement within the Southern Baptist Convention.

Through fellowship, collaboration, leadership development and evangelistic efforts, NAAF seeks to equip and encourage churches to fulfill the Great Commission while fostering unity across the convention.

We are grateful for his leadership and look forward to witnessing how God will use him in this new role to further expand His Kingdom, strengthen churches and impact lives for the glory of Christ.
