Hi BRN Family, Elizabeth here and it’s time for the February Top 5!

#1. If you haven’t already, now is the time to sign up for the March 18 Advance Evangelism Conference featuring Mark Croston, national director of Black church ministries at Lifeway Christian Resources, and Dr. David Wheeler, professor of evangelism at Liberty University. This annual conference, to be held at Calvary Church in State College, is for the whole church! Sign up today at advancepasj.com. Also, students in 7th-12th grade are invited to AMPLIFY, BRN’s newest conference, which is a Next Gen gathering on April 12-14 at Camp Hebron in Halifax, Pa. The keynote speaker is Tony Banks, a former collegiate minister, and current pastor of Agape Bible Fellowship Church in Park Forest, Illinois, and the worship band is Think of 3, who plays a blend of alternative rock with hints of pop in the vein of David Crowder, Michael Knott, and Third Day. There will be a Kingdom Quest, five exhilarating breakout sessions, and so much more. Visit amplifypasj.com to learn more.

#2: The ACP (Annual Church Profile) is data used by the BRN to effectively plan events, strategize resources, and evaluate the needs of our churches. Please fill out your ACP data either through the special link below or in Workspace no later than February 15, 2024. If you need your Workspace ID or Password, just call or text the Hub at (717) 652-5856 or email us at helpdesk@brnunited.org, and we can get that information for you. Thank you!

#3: The mailing of materials to help your church observe the 2024 Annie Armstrong Easter Offering and Week of Prayer went out last week. The official date for the week of prayer this year is March 3-10. And did you know? This year’s emphasis features Noelson Chery, BRN’s ethnic church consultant, and his wife Edna and their church in Philadelphia! Please pray for all of our North American missionaries and challenge your church to give and support their work through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. Thank you.

#4: Speaking of Easter, the Baptist Resource Network has evangelism grants available to help your church with your Easter outreach. Do you have an evangelism project or an evangelism training in mind, but are short on the resources to accomplish it? Just let us know how we can help. Contact the Helpdesk at helpdesk@brnunited.org or visit online at brnunited.org/grant to learn more.

#5: Our partners at the North American Mission Board are offering two conferences in our region this spring. One is the Revive Summit on February 26-27 at Cross Creek Community Church in Trucksville, Pa. This two-day event includes in-depth Bible study, prayer, practical instructions to improve biblical preaching, proven steps to move a church toward following Jesus’ plan for their church and meaningful, restorative worship for those in attendance. The cost is $15 per person. The other event is the Refresh Retreat on April 22-24 at the Loews Hotel in Center City, Philadelphia. This three-day retreat is designed to bring deep encouragement and strengthening to ministry couples, church staff, and lay leaders. Special discounted prices are available for BRN pastoral couples and paid ministry staff from cooperating BRN churches. Learn more about both these events in BRN United or online at brnunited.org/events.

That’s all for February. Thanks for watching, BRN Family. We appreciate you and we are thankful for you!
