It’s good to be with you today. I’m in Gettysburg, and we just finished up our pastor retreat with our wives, and what a joy it was.
We had almost 30 couples here that we’re ministered to. This whole retreat was sponsored by Georgia Baptists. Their willingness to come through their Pastoral Wellness program to just love on our pastors and just have three days together where they just were, encouraged, challenged.
We have worshipped. It’s just a sense of renewal. You could see it welling up and happening. A lot of comradery, couples exchanging their information about each other, getting to know each other for the first time. And although they’re separated by miles, God just used this as a moment to bring our BRN family together with these 30 couples that showed up.
But this is what we do to help pastors, to encourage pastors. It is a part of our own wellness program because we hosted this event along with the sponsorship of Georgia Baptist.
So, I just wanted to say to you, there’s going to be more of this to come and the next time it comes around, I want to encourage you to be a part of this. And we’re going to share some testimonies in the future of folks who were here, that took part in this and just hear what God did in their lives and what this meant to them. And the next time that we have it, we’d love to see you there.
