#2: Registration for the October 6 Accelerate Conference is open! To be held at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel in Harrisburg, this year’s conference will feature the theme, “Bold Impact,” with keynote speakers Dr. Barry Whitworth, BRN’s Executive Director, and several of our own pastors and ministry leaders: Kyle Canty, T.J. Freeman, Brian Musser, and Zakk Roberts. We also will host several breakout sessions, worship led by students from Lancaster Bible College, and two special bonuses! On the evening before the conference, Travelers Church Pastor Wes Winebarger will host a preconference session on prayer. A Tuesday morning breakfast will feature Pa Family Institute and Communio, a ministry dedicated to helping churches strengthen marriages and relationships. Learn more at acceleratepasj.com.
#3: Collegiate Missionaries serving the Pennsylvania/South Jersey region AND any BRN pastors/ministry leaders who desire to pray over our collegiate missionaries are invited to join a special Zoom prayer gathering on August 14 at 9:30 a.m. This gathering will be hosted by the BRN Next Gen team. Please consider joining this gathering and praying over our collegiate missionaries just before students return to the campuses they are serving! #4: Speaking of college students: On October 30 – November 1, the BRN will host the Amplify Collegiate Retreat at Camp Hebron in Halifax, Pa. Amplify is a multi-day retreat for college students and young adults, ages 18-25, that seeks to help them amplify God’s voice in their lives, on their campuses, and throughout the world. Attendees will experience worship, teaching, activities, and fellowship with fellow students from around the region. The keynote speaker is Lawrence Lockett, Jr., an experienced educator, community leader and artist. He currently serves as the assistant director/university chaplain at Morgan State University in Baltimore. Worship will be led by “musicianaries” Haney Love. Learn more at amplifypasj.com.
