Jesus Week Movement: Citywide Prayer

About the Event:
St. John Memorial Baptist Church in Philadelphia has partnered with “Jesus Week Movement,” specifically the organization’s Youth with a Mission and Taking Jesus to the Street Ministry, to pray for Philadelphia. The church is seeking and asking BRN churches, ministries, and prayer warriors throughout Philadelphia to come alongside them in this citywide prayer initiative. This effort is designed to unite churches and believers across the city to pray, witness, evangelize, make disciples, and spread the gospel, while at the same time pray for healing, peace, revival, and transformation (Mark 16:15; Matthews 28:19-20.)
Strategic prayer routes have been established for the event. Prayer stations will be established along the following key corridors:
- (Broad Street) from Cheltenham Avenue to JFK Boulevard
- (Market Street) from 63rd St. to 15th Street
- (Broad Street) from Snyder Avenue to S. Penn Square
- Prayer Rally Northbound side of City Hall
These routes have been carefully selected to cover major sections of the city with prayer, outreach, and community engagement. Training will be provided for all prayer station volunteers to ensure that everyone is equipped and prepared to minister effectively.
This citywide prayer movement will culminate with a powerful gathering at Philadelphia City Hall.
