I personally wanted to invite you to join us for the Serve Lehigh Valley Tour on June 26-27. After previous tours in Philadelphia, Erie, and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, we are excited to now make an impact in Bethlehem, Allentown, and Easton, which are among the fastest growing municipalities in Pennsylvania.
This large-scale Serve PASJ mission opportunity seeks to inspire you and your church to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. Our plan is to find ways to meet needs and bless churches, schools, local governments, and compassion ministry non-profits. In addition, we want to strategically help revitalize local churches and bless bi-vocational pastors and church planters.
Volunteers just like you can participate in projects that include light construction, painting and landscaping, hosting VBS or block parties, evangelism, and so much more! To date, there are over 50 projects to choose from!
This includes an exciting new prayer project for those interested in gathering and focusing prayer toward all the ministry taking place these two special days! Prayer is so vital!
In fact, I urge you to start praying now for this year’s partnering churches: 1427 Church in Allentown; Calvary Baptist Church in Easton; Riverbend Community Church and Misión Vida in Bethlehem; and The Vine Calvary Chapel in Schnecksville. Each church is heavily involved in preparing for you and your team to have a fulfilling experience.
Registration is open at servepasj.com! I urge you to register by May 15 so you can receive a Serve Lehigh Valley t-shirt. Registrations on or after May 16 will receive a Serve PASJ t-shirt. You can also download promotional resources like prayer guides, training materials, videos, slides, and more at servepasj.com. Also, pay particular attention to the lodging opportunities, as many of them will fill up quickly!
To help offset costs of the projects, we do request a $15 donation (or a donation of any amount) for all participants, except college students and youth/children. Your $15 contribution helps to pay for your t-shirt, meals, and pertinent materials for your projects.
