Debbie Beswarick, 73, a woman of unwavering faith, passed away on November 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 21 in Pittsburgh, PA to Thomas A. and Frances B. Brewer. She is the beloved wife of David J. Beswarick for 52 years; the loving mother of Kelle Bremmer (Bob) and Jon Beswarick (Rachel); Sister of Peggy Fitzgerald (Bob); Nana of Mya Bremmer, Nate Bremmer, Jackson Bremmer and Declan Beswarick; Aunt of Joel Pitacciato (Kristin) and Erica Wasik (George). Debbie made her home in Penn Hills and later in Armstrong County. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Degree in English Education. She taught at Penn Hills High School until they decided to start their family.
Debbie’s life epitomized her devotion to God, her family, and her church community, as she shared her faith through acts of kindness, compassion, and a steadfast trust in God’s plan.
David and Debbie, together created a home grounded in faith and love. As a devoted wife and mother, she raised her children in the Lord, instilling in them a profound understanding of love and trust in the Savior. Her family was a source of immense joy in her life.
Deb was an active member of Harvest Church, where she dedicated her time to advancing God’s mission in various capacities. Her involvement in numerous groups and activities was extensive, from supporting the pastors to mentoring countless women. Her commitment to nurturing the church community was a hallmark of her life.
A remarkable mentor, teacher, leader, encourager, and friend, Debbie fervently advocated for others and supported the realization of their ideas. She was a woman who sought no accolades for her contributions; however, her work history reflects her dedication as a hardworking woman of faith. Deb leaves behind a profound legacy of faith and hope in Christ alone, with His light evident in the life she led.
A Memorial Service will be held at Harvest Church on November 23, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Reception to follow.
