STATE COLLEGE, Pa., (BRN) – Week three of Salt Company at Penn State University (PSU), a college ministry of The Fields Church, had a great turnout again!
It is awesome to see the ministry growing slightly week by week as new faces come and students invite their friends.
This week, we continued in our “Who is Jesus?” series, looking at how Jesus is our treasure that is worth selling out for. We had conversations with so many students about how they’ve been holding onto their own treasures and haven’t truly allowed Jesus to be the one treasure of their life. The Gospel was shared through a sermon presentation of Matthew 13 and the parables of the treasure in a field.
Again, the money that was graciously granted by the Baptist Resource Network (BRN) towards this event helped transport students back and forth from campus using 15-passenger vans.
