SW33-Habitat for Humanity ReStore Cleanout/City Cleanup

WHO

Habitat for Humanity ReStore location in Nanticoke, Pa.

WHAT

Working with Habitat For Humanity has been an amazing partnership for Nebo Baptist Church over the last 10 years. The church has done everything from helping them build a house for a local mother and son, relocate their restored building, as well as get their aid to help them fix up buildings and minister to people in their community.

What Nebo Baptist would like to do is help them clear out a lot of their overstock unneeded items that have no use and or are broken to help them continue to best serve our community of Nanticoke. Teams will either clean out the inside of the building or the overgrown property behind the building.

This will involve some heavier lifting, some weeding, and “sweat equity!”

WHY

This will allow Habitat to better function, maneuver, and serve the Nanticoke community daily. The church has also been ministering to Joe the manager and his staff for years and have built a great relationship that would be greatly impacted by doing this with them.
