SW30-GNA Early Education Emergency Packs and Carnival

WHO

Early childhood education center families and students through the Greater Area Nanticoke School District. They serve currently serve 73 total families in the district.

WHAT

Volunteers will be filling backpacks with essential items like carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, sunscreen, and even school supplies for the upcoming year. They will be working with school staff and possibly some parents to fill these packs and also deliver or hand them out to the families they serve. They will then in the afternoon run a carnival and mobile grill for the surrounding community.

WHY

Nebo Baptist Church hopes to strengthen their relationship with their local schools and community and to potentially have Gospel conversations that day and in the future.
