DESCRIPTION:COVID-19 UPDATE: Rescheduling the May 18\, 2020 Pennsylvania March for Life \nThe sponsors of the Pennsylvania March for Life\, out of concern for the health of those planning to attend\, and in line with the guidance of public health officials and Capitol authorities\, are today announcing the postponement of the Pennsylvania March for Life\, originally set for Monday\, May 18\, 2020. \nEven now they are looking to confirm a date for this fall. With you\, they are committed to ensuring that Pennsylvania’s pro-life voice will be heard by the Governor\, our General Assembly and other elected officials. Continue to check the website at pamarchforlife.org for regular updates\, the announcement of a new date\, and ways you can help spread the word and plan to attend. \nThe Pennsylvania March for Life – being held on May 18\, 2020 in Harrisburg\, Pa. – will be the biggest pro-life advocacy event in our state’s history! We are focusing on making a statement in support of life which will be heard loud and clear by our legislators. Our message of love for the unborn children and their mothers will be heard by every member of the legislature as they come to Harrisburg that Monday for one of their session days. \n \nConfirmed Speakers:\nRyan Bomberger of the Radiance Foundation – Master of Ceremonies \nMost Reverend Ronald W. Gainer – Roman Catholic Bishop of Harrisburg \nAbby Johnson – founder of the nonprofit\, And Then There Were None. Abby is an American anti-abortion activist who previously worked at Planned Parenthood as a clinic director\, but resigned in October 2009. She states that she resigned after watching an abortion on ultrasound. Her memoir\, Unplanned\, was made into the 2019 movie of the same name. \nJeanne Mancini – President\, March for Life \nWhere exactly will the March take place?\nThe March Route will encircle the Capitol Complex. The length of the March Route is approximately 1 mile. \nWill signs be provided?\nWe encourage you to be creative and bring your own signs!
