Corey Mitchell, Baptist Resource Network Healthy Church Consultant for the Central Region, has been senior pastor at Winfield Baptist Church for 10 years and been in full-time ministry for 13. He previously worked for Focus on the Family for 3 years. He has studied at Denver Seminary, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated from Luther Rice with a master of divinity degree.

Churches I have engaged with begin conversations that help them think about how they are functioning in our three areas of focus: missional engagement, intentional discipleship, and leadership development.

Corey is motivated to see healthy pastors leading churches that are engaging their communities with the gospel, making disciples, and raising up leaders who are being sent out to plant churches, lead churches, and engage in missions overseas.
In his free time, Corey loves to canoe and hunt. He also does some woodworking when he can.
