LEHIGH VALLEY, PENNSYLVANIA
WHO
The Nehemiah Wall (Safe Haven for Women and Children) is a not-for-profit charitable and humanitarian organization whose main purpose is to provide transitional housing for women and children with life-controlling problems.
WHY
The hope is the women and children of The Nehemiah Wall will have a place they can call their own, a place that offers them safety and the dignity of having a clean environment, and helps them feel they are a part of something, valued, wanted, and that God does not throw people away.
WHAT
Volunteers will interact with, encourage and pray for residents while painting The Nehemiah Wall ‘s five bedrooms, one office area, dining room and hallway. Volunteers will also place seven key entry door knobs on bedroom doors.
In addition, The Nehemiah Wall has needs for materials to design the spaces, as shown in the Wishlist below. (Volunteers may purchase and bring these supplies with them or ship to the address listed.)
