BRN extends a welcome to Pastor Charles Blachford, the new pastor of Bux-Mont Baptist Church in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. Blachford, who is executive vice president at Missio Seminary in Philadelphia, previously served at Streamsong Church in Doylestown, a church plant out of Riverside Community Church in Horsham.
When the Philadelphia Public School system committed to virtual learning through November 17, a problem was created that was too big for any governing body or administration to solve alone. Bedrock Fishtown, a new church plant in Philadelphia, began asking and praying for ways they could be part of the solution for the upcoming school year.
Hurricane Isaias brought massive rain and flooding to the eastern portion of Pennsylvania and parts of New Jersey. Disaster Relief put out a call for flood and downed tree cleanup teams, and several churches responded.

Twenty college students from California University of Pennsylvania, Lock Haven University, Penn State University and from Edinboro Community Church chose to use their spring break to worship God and to help people recover from Hurricane Florence in Rose Hill, N.C.
A letter from Pennsylvania's Food Bank networks, Feeding Pennsylvania and Hunger-Free Pennsylvania, has said, "Yes, we are open," in spite of state mandates prohibiting on-site work at non-life sustaining businesses.
"We're going to get strategic and make sure big crowds aren't gathering in our building at one time, to make sure we're responsible while at the same time distributing food to people in need," said Rob Wilton, the North American Mission Board's (NAMB) Send City Missionary who provides oversight to Send Relief's ministry activity in the city.
