SUMMARY:Mental Health Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Stewartstown Baptist Church in Stewartstown\, Pennsylvania\, is hosting a free Mental Health Workshop on Saturday\, Oct. 5\, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m.\, with limited seating. \nThis special workshop will be led by Pamela M. Ammons\, MABC\, BCCC and allow participants to engage in an open conversation about God and their mental health. Those attending will explore answers to questions such as: \n\nWhy is taking care of our minds important? (Mark 12:30-31)\nHow crisis\, fear\, or trauma affects our brains; where does God come in?\nHow do I seek God when I am anxious and depressed?\nCan God be close to me if I have thoughts of suicide?\n\nThe workshop will also include a Q&A opportunity with Pamela Ammons as well as lunch.
