SUMMARY:Annie Armstrong Easter Offering and Week of Prayer for North American Missions
DESCRIPTION:Each year\, churches observe the Week of Prayer for North American Missions by praying for missionaries\, their ministries\, and their families. This year\, the official dates are March 1–8\, although your church can participate any time during the Easter season. \nNorth American missionaries take the gospel to unreached communities throughout the U.S. and Canada. They depend on your prayers to open hearts and help them disciple new believers. \nTo fuel their work\, missionaries also need your gifts to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (AAEO) is the primary way Southern Baptists fund missions in North America. One hundred percent of gifts given to AAEO go to the field to support more than 3\,000 missionary families serving across the United States and Canada.  This year’s national offering goal is $80 million. \nLearn more at anniearmstrong.com.

SUMMARY:3:16 on 3/16
DESCRIPTION:This year\, March 16 falls on a Sunday\, and the North American Mission Board’s (NAMB) evangelism team is urging Southern Baptist churches to plan a special outreach on that day with a campaign: “3:16 on 3/16.” \n“John 3:16 has been referred to as the Gospel in a nutshell. It’s probably the most widely known Bible verse in the world\,” said Tim Dowdy\, NAMB’s president of evangelism. “So\, in cooperation with our state conventions and associations\, on March 16\, we’re encouraging all SBC pastors to preach on John 3:16.” \nNAMB’s evangelism team has created a website\, 316on316.com\, that includes resources designed to help churches and pastors prepare for the Sunday. Sermon prompts\, outreach ideas and a prayer guide can help a church engage their neighbors with the Gospel in the leadup to March 16. \n*This content was provided by NAMB in an article originally published on baptistpress.com.

SUMMARY:NAMB Multiethnic Evangelism Training
DESCRIPTION:The North American Mission Board (NAMB) recently launched a new Evangelism Kit\, available in both English and Spanish. In conjunction with the kit release\, NAMB is excited to announce an upcoming Multiethnic Evangelism Training at Bible Church International in Randolph\, New Jersey\, on Sept. 7 from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. \nNAMB understands the significant pressures pastors face\, especially those who serve bivocationally\, balancing their employment with pastoral responsibilities. Recognizing that many pastors manage their pastoral duties alongside other vocations\, they have scheduled the training on a Saturday to fit your availability better. \nPastors\, pastoral staff\, and ministry leaders are invited to register and invite their pastoral staff\, ministry leaders\, and fellow pastors to benefit from the training. Participation is free\, but individual registration is required. Attendees will enjoy a catered hot meal and receive an Evangelism Kit. \nRegister

SUMMARY:Send Network Equipping for Multiplication Seminar: Missional Motive
DESCRIPTION:Before talking about the how of missional living\, it is crucial to discuss the why. In this session we will discuss the missionary nature of the church\, as one of the primary motivations for laying a foundation for the church to move in a missional direction. The reality is that the church doesn’t just send missionaries; the church is the missionary. \nFeaturing Brad Brisco:\nBrad is currently the Director of Bivocational Church Planting for the North American Mission Board. He holds a doctorate in the area of missional ecclesiology\, his doctoral thesis was on assisting existing congregations in transitioning in a missional direction. He is the co-author of Missional Essentials\, a twelve-week small group study guide\, The Missional Quest: Becoming a Church of the Long Run\, Next Door As It Is In Heaven\, and Covocational Church Planting. He blogs regularly at missionalchurchnetwork.com. \nRegister \nGo to Seminar \nDownload Flyer
