Participants will receive an in-depth overview of Lifeway’s Magnified VBS\, uncovering its key themes and offerings. \nWhat to Expect:\n\nRenewed Vision: Gain fresh insights on how to inspire and engage your community through VBS.\nStrategic Planning: Learn practical steps for organizing a successful VBS\, from initial ideas to execution.\nVolunteer Recruitment: Discover effective strategies for recruiting and empowering key volunteers to support your VBS mission.\nComprehensive Overview: Get familiar with Lifeway’s Magnified VBS materials and resources to prepare for an impactful event.\n\nWhether you’re a seasoned leader or new to VBS\, this training will equip you with the tools and inspiration needed to make this year’s VBS a memorable and transformative experience for all involved. Don’t miss this opportunity to magnify your impact! \nPresenter:\nChristy Kraus is a dedicated and passionate leader in ministries that impact the next generation. Christy has spent over twenty years serving in student and kids ministries. Married to her husband\, Rob\, for 24 years\, Christy is a proud mother of two adult children\, whom she loves immensely. \nIn her role as the Kids’ Ministry Director at Wrightsdale Baptist Church in Peach Bottom\, Pa.\, which she has held for the past two years\, Christy focuses on children from preschool through 5th grade. She has been blessed with a front-row seat as the ministry experienced significant growth in both attendance and volunteer engagement. She is continually impressed by the heart and commitment of the volunteers on the KidMin team and finds joy in seeing how God is using this team. \nChristy believes that children’s ministry is a vital part of the church and is passionate about teaching kids while partnering with parents to help disciple their children. One of her favorite outreach events is Vacation Bible School (VBS)\, where she has witnessed lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus. \nBefore joining the church staff\, she served as a Behavior Support Technician in local public schools\, serving children living with trauma and special needs. Her journey in education began by teaching for seven years and ultimately serving as the preschool director at a Christian school. \nChristy holds a certification in early childhood education and is currently completing her certification in children’s ministry.
