DESCRIPTION:Calling all preschool ministry staff and volunteers! Get set to hop on board with Josh Zello from PreschoolPastor.com for an exciting ride with the “Jesus Loves Preschoolers” online cohort – trust us\, it’s going to be a blast that you won’t want to miss! Together\, in a tight-knit group\, we’re going on an adventure to uncover the magic of gospel-centered preschool ministry. \nThis special cohort is in partnership with the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware. The cohort will start Feb. 13\, meeting over Zoom at 7 p.m.\, and  continue to meet online every Tuesday 7-8 p.m. until March 5. The cost for the cohort is $30. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a series of four virtual VBS trainings starting on Monday\, April 24 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Below are the dates and topics for each session: \n\nMonday April 24: Session 1-Vision\, Volunteers\, Budget Considerations\nMonday\, May 1: Session 2-Promotion\, Registration\nMonday\, May 8: Session 3-Classroom Management\, Welcoming those with Special Needs\nMonday\, May 15: Session 4-Youth Volunteers\, Follow-up\, Dismissal procedures and Best Practices\n\nThese trainings will be led by Kris Buckman\, Children’s Ministry & Youth Consultant for the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware \nA Maryland native\, Kris has been a member of Tri-County Baptist Church in Damascus\, Maryland\, for over 19 years. She has served in children’s ministry for almost all of that time\, teaching Sunday school\, directing VBS\, planning and coordinating special events\, serving as AWANA Commander\, traveling with kids to summer camp\, and\, as she says\, “cleaning up lots of glitter and crushed goldfish!” \nAs a child\, Buckman attended Mt. Airy Baptist Church with her family for more than 15 years. She made a professions of faith in Christ as a child while at a backyard kids club and was baptized as a young teen. She graduated from the University of Baltimore with a degree in communications and has a Master’s Degree in Children’s and Family Ministry from Bethel Seminary. \nKris and her husband\, Todd\, have two sons\, Ben and Jake.
