IRVINGTON, New Jersey, (BRN) – I am glad to inform you that our summer outreach program at Baptist Chapel International Life Explosion in Irvington, New Jersey, took place successfully with Brother Buff and his team from south Alabama. Between the team from Alabama and the Baptist Chapel International Life Explosion outreach team, we were able to give out all 1000 copies of flyers and gospel tracks to the surrounding communities of our church.

Baptist Chapel International Life Explosion in Irvington, New Jersey, partnered with BRN Director of Compassion Ministries Buff McNickle and a team from Alabama to do outreach to its community.

Out of these, we were able to secure 47 contacts with names and phone numbers to be engaged with the gospel, prayer, follow-up calls and personal visitation. Out of these 47 contacts, 14 attended International Day on Sunday service. Out of these 14,  nine made a decision for Christ on Sunday and want to be members of our church. Our greatest challenge now is to convert these 47 contacts into disciples of Christ, which we started through daily phone calls by our disciple makers. Keep us in prayer as we work hard to convert these contacts into real disciples of Christ. Another piece of news is that l recently received a call from a new contact who wanted to know about our church, because one of the team members ministered to her and she now wants to follow-up with the church. Her name is Abby. May God bless you and the BRN office for not giving up on us and helping us to carry out this project to honor Christ.
