KITTANNING, Pa., (BRN) – Harvest Community Church – Kittanning Campus hosted the first outreach effort in recent history in the Borough of Ford City, Pennsylvania.
We had over 50 volunteers from the Kittanning Campus providing games, food, bounce house attractions and story tents. The story tents were the real highlight of the day as this is where we shared the gospel in a fun way, with kids and parents traveling through four tents, each giving a different part of the gospel story. Every child received a copy of Gospel Story printed by The Gospel Project to take home as well. In all, we served nearly 500 hotdogs and shared the gospel with over 200 children. We also had time to meet new people, make new friends and plant new seeds in a community that needs Jesus. We have already seen a few families start attending our campus since this outreach event. We are excited about the work being accomplished in Ford City and we anticipate many future works there. We were even invited back by the City Government to be the official kids event provider for their city wide summer festival in 2023!
