GREENCASTLE, Pa., (BRN) – Greencastle Baptist Church in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, recently used a BRN Evangelism Grant to host a “Revival in the Streets” Evangelism Training on May 1-2. The training was six hours over the course of two days, with two hours of practical and one hour of wrap up.
It covered the heart of evangelism being an outpouring of our faith, how to deal with folks who might want followup, using your personal testimony to open doors, using questions to share Christ, linking evangelism to discipleship and common questions people ask.
After the classroom portion, the group then broke into two large teams (that broke into smaller groups on site) and went to two community events that were happening. Following the practical training, the church had a debriefing and panel discussion time.
