PHILADELPHIA (BRN) – Baptist Campus Ministries (BCM) at Drexel University in Philadelphia recently tabled on Lancaster Walk, a heavily populated walkway on campus, for Story Fellowship.

The campus ministry engaged students through interactive activities, such as Easter-themed eggs with thought-provoking questions to spark conversations and invite them to the group’s Easter service.

The ministry also promoted their Spring involvement events, including the Story Kickback and our discussion event “Why Is There Suffering If There Is a God?.” The hope for these events is to build relationships and create a welcoming space for meaningful dialogue.

Additionally this spring, the BCM set up a tent and blankets outside on the lawn with a table on the side for egg painting. On the blankets they placed jars, bunches of flowers, and scissors for people to make bouquets. On the tables they had plastic eggs, paintbrushes, and paint for people to paint eggs. The ministry set out speakers and played some Christian music and overall just created an inviting environment.

A BRN Evangelism Grant was used to support these events. These events were in partnership with Story College Church.
