#1: Just a quick shout out to all those who attended this year’s Advance Conference in State College on March 16. What an inspiring conference it was! #2: Speaking of evangelism, I am happy to report that the projects for Serve Lehigh Valley are now live! This large-scale outreach has over 50 projects, ranging from evangelism to block parties, to prayer walking and community beautification projects, and so much more, making it the perfect mission trip for your church. #3: Speaking of evangelism, I am also happy to report that the BRN has two more evangelism-focused training events this spring. One is the Spring Advanced Disaster Relief Training on April 10-11 at Grace Baptist Church in New Bethlehem, Pa., for Disaster Relief volunteers who have completed Basic Disaster Relief Training. Learn more at brnunited.org/dr. The second is a one-day workshop designed for leaders, volunteers, and pastors who specifically serve with their church’s VBS. This springtime training will focus specifically on equipping VBS volunteers in Lifeway’s Illumination Station curriculum. This content is designed to encourage kids to shine bright for Jesus in a dark world and teach them about who He really is. Learn more at brnunited.org/vbs.
#4: Pastors, current deacons, and prospective deacons are invited to a Deacons’ Training at the BRN Training Center in Harrisburg on April 11 or at Keystone Montgomeryville’s Warehouse on May 2 or Rolling Hills Church in Verona on June 20. This training will feature four biblical essentials from Acts 6:1-7 for “Deacons on Purpose” as taught by Dr. Ryan Day, pastor of Wrightsdale Baptist Church. #5: Happy Resurrection Sunday! What a glorious day to remember! May your church’s celebration of Christ’s resurrection be fulfilling and fruitful.
