CHESTERFIELD, NJ, (BRN) – On Dec. 5-6, 2025, Fellowship CrossPoint Church in Chesterfield, New Jersey, brought in over 500 community and church members to pack 150,000 meals to send to Ecuador for their annual Hunger Stops with Us outreach.
These volunteers served in three shifts, two hours each, with there being 150 packers per shift and 30 key volunteers per shift.
The Civil Air Patrol, Girl Scouts, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Faith Christian Academy and Bank of Princeton, in addition to our church youth group, all volunteered throughout the two-days of packing.
The gospel was shared during the training for each pack, and all volunteers were invited back to CrossPoint for our Christmas Eve Service or for the third service launch.
More specifically, the gospel was shared three times, each time at the beginning of the packing session during the training.
One of our pastors shared the gospel, tying it to how God meets both our physical and spiritual hunger in the context of our packing these meals to help Ecuadorians’ physical hunger. He also encouraged anyone with questions to ask any of our volunteers for more information.
Many of our church members invited friends or family who do not regularly attend church. Throughout the event we anticipate that many gospel conversations took place as well as possibly after the event.
