William Branch

William “Duce” Branch

Executive Director, Equip, Blueprint Church; Adjunct Professor, Judson College at Southeastern

William “Duce” Branch loves to preach Christ. Through careful biblical exposition, he seeks to embody his conviction in the primacy and sufficiency of Scripture. He has a moniker, “The Ambassador,” based on 2 Cor 5:20, which he adopted to express his passion for representing Christ evangelistically and building people up theologically. With 30 years of ministry experience, focusing particularly on urban contexts, Duce continues to travel, both nationally and internationally, sharing the gospel through standard preaching and gospel-centered music.

With a master’s degree in theology (ThM) from Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) and currently finishing up doctoral studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS), Duce is fully invested in the gospel ministry in a variety of capacities. He co-planted and co-pastored an urban church in North Philadelphia (2004-2009) and led a nonprofit urban ministry for over a decade (1998 – 2009). He taught at the College at Southeastern as an Assistant Professor of Preaching from 2016 to 2025, before recently taking the role of Executive Director of Equip, a theological training arm of Blueprint Church in Atlanta, Ga. Furthermore, he is now a core member of the church’s preaching team, while also serving as Adjunct Professor of Preaching and NT Introductory Studies for Judson College at Southeastern in Wake Forest, N.C.

The mission is clear for Duce—to proclaim the excellencies of Christ by all possible means. He and his lovely wife Michelle have four children—Jeremiah, Trinity, Eden, and Sinai. As a family, the Branches aim to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, who alone can save.

For nearly 20 years, the two churches, led by Pastors Dan Nold, Calvary, and Harold McKenzie, Unity, along with several other local churches, have met to pray for each other and their city. They have met to strategize ways they can work together to serve the community. They have led their congregations to live out Jesus’ prayer that we would be known by the love we have for each other.
